FAQ
Common questions
Everything you need to know before starting a Circle. TrustUp is built for private groups, not public feeds.
Is TrustUp free?
Yes. TrustUp is free to start for everyone. We may offer optional paid features for organizations later, but the core coordination app is free.
Who is TrustUp for?
People coordinating real responsibilities in a trusted group — family care, school pickups, group rides, or volunteer shifts. It's built for follow-through, not feeds.
What is a Circle?
A Circle is an invite-only space for your group. Only people you invite can see what's posted.
How do needs and offers work?
You post what you need — or what you can offer. Others respond, and you take it from there.
Who can see what?
Only your Circle can see your posts and responses. Nothing is public.
Is there a public feed?
No. There's no attention-based feed, no endless scrolling, and no public posting.
What happens after someone responds?
You both see it. The person who posted the need and the person who tapped to help are connected — no ambiguity about who's doing what. From there, you sort it out however works for you.
Can organizations use this?
Yes. Food pantries, churches, schools, co-ops, arts societies — any group that coordinates care or shares resources. A Circle gives your organization a private space to post needs, share what's available, and close the loop without a group chat or a spreadsheet.
How do we start?
You can join a Circle someone's already created, get invited by a neighbor or organization, or start your own. Most people begin with a single need — post what you're looking for and see who responds. It's free, and there's nothing to set up beyond your first entry.
